Desert Sunset by =ahff Great color tones and wonderful composition. The darkness in the image adds to the mood, and the surreal feeling created by the blood red clouds. Good job! (

I really love the colors of the sky. I'm usually into pictures with color and background. This picture definitely has both. A great stop at the end of the day!

There is skill, but there is also kindness... you dumb dumb trolls out there.
This is an absolutely exquisite photograph. The desert is a beautiful and vastly under-appreciated landscape, from which people nowadays could probably learn a great deal. I've spent a lot of time searching for the sense of serenity that many noteworthy people have accredited to time spent as deep into the desert as they dared go alone... then perhaps a little further in. Christopher McCandless (the subject of "Into The Wild") often sought out the desert in one form or another, as did J. R. Oppenheimer. Having not been blessed with the same chance myself, I can only guess at what they found there, but I've read the attempts of either man to explain what it was that they sought, and what they found. I think that your photograph captures that essence wonderfully.
