This is an absolutely exquisite photograph. The desert is a beautiful and vastly under-appreciated landscape, from which people nowadays could probably learn a great deal. I've spent a lot of time searching for the sense of serenity that many noteworthy people have accredited to time spent as deep into the desert as they dared go alone... then perhaps a little further in. Christopher McCandless (the subject of "Into The Wild") often sought out the desert in one form or another, as did J. R. Oppenheimer. Having not been blessed with the same chance myself, I can only guess at what they found there, but I've read the attempts of either man to explain what it was that they sought, and what they found. I think that your photograph captures that essence wonderfully.
Hi, i'm doing a photostory assignment for my course 'The Arts' at Uni and this picture corresponds great with the theme. I was just wondering if i could use this picture. I'll give you full accreditation and i'll send you a link of my assignment if you want. Regards, Corina. c:
